After the New Testament was recorded, missionaries were among the first to receive an Audio Bible in a local language. They felt led to invite their 60-year-old housemate to listen to it.
As they played John chapter eight, the woman who had only completed her fourth-grade education, listened intently. Tears filled her eyes and she smiled as she heard the story of Jesus healing the man born blind. "I understood every word!" she said joyfully. She was able to retell the entire story in her own words.
We thank God for her deep understanding of His Word through her heart language. Let’s pray that many more will experience the same joy and clarity in hearing God's message and come to faith in Christ.
